TTN awarded silver Brandon Hall Learning Excellence Award

October 7, 2013 - MINNEAPOLIS, MN

Interactive learning and full-motion video streaming are some of the innovative characteristics that won Minneapolis-based Total Training Network (TTN) a silver Brandon Hall Excellence Award for Best Use of Video for Learning. Awards were announced on September 26 as part of the 19th Annual Brandon Hall Group Excellence Awards.

In partnership with Beam Global, TTN integrated custom video and interactive training programs for the global spirits company whose brands include Jim Beam, Maker's Mark and Skinnygirl Cocktails. The learning platforms were designed to educate inside sales staff, distributors, brokers and trade partners about the history of different spirit categories, specific Beam brands and brand innovation.

"It was a pleasure working with Beam Global, and we're honored by this recognition," said Jerry Cox, president of TTN. "With more than 20,000 Beam learners interacting with the platform and watching more than 250,000 videos, we're proud to help meet the needs of their corporate training classroom."

TTN's learning platform was judged on the following criteria:

  • Fit the need
  • Program design
  • Functionality
  • Delivery
  • Usability
  • Innovation
  • Overall measurable benefits

Entries for the award were judged by a select panel of industry professionals, including university professors, business and technology executives, and instructional designers and program developers from corporations, nonprofits and government organizations from around the globe.

TTN has been developing proprietary cloud-based learning platforms for over a decade. In addition, the company hosts a variety of online learning tools for corporations and business, including proprietary and custom courses, online courses and assessments, mobile learning, video courses, SCORM/AICC compliance courses, and opportunities for earning accredited CEUs.
